On October 15, the Department of Management held a round-table conference dedicated to the 75th anniversary of National Transport University. The topic of the conference was: Forming Professional Competence of Managers for the Automobile Industry within the Context of Modern Labour Market Requirements. The Head of the Department of Management, Professor Olena Lozhachevska, Acting Dean of the Department of Management, Logistics and Tourism, Dr.Vitaliy Kharuta, staff members of the Department and students attended the conference. The guests of honour were: Tetyana Huzhevska, the Chief Financial Officer of ASMap Ukraine; Oleksandr Krasnoshtan, the Head of Domestic and International Transportation, Ukrzaliznytsya; Tetyana Melnyk, the Head of the Department of Risk Forecasting and Operational Monitoring, Ukrzaliznytsya; Vasyl Danichev, the Head of Automotive Enterprise-1; Maksym Belik, the Dynkan Director of Dynkan; Valerii Kravtsov, the Director of Obukhiv Automobile Enterprise-13238; Serhii Mishchenko, the Director of Automobile Enterprise-13058; Mariia Mitchenko, Acting Director of Rapid; Vasyl Palamarchuk, the Director of Automobile Enterprise-6 Kyivpastrans; Rutaro Yuki, the General Manager of the Ukrainian office of SDGs Corp; Vasyl Gryn, the Head of Special Transportation Department.
The reform issues and problems of specialists training for the transport industry of Ukraine, the peculiarities of administrative work at car service sector in modern condition were addressed. The participants defined the requirements of modern labour market to managers’ competence and discussed various interesting topics.
During the round-table conference the participants spoke about history of National Transport University and establishment of the Department of Management, which dates back to 1976. They also defined the main directions of further cooperation with experts of the industry.
