NTU Library is an information, cultural and educational structural unit of the university.
It was established along with the University in 1944. The books donated from the funds of Moscow, Leningrad and Siberian Automobile and Road Institutes and Kyiv Polytechnic Institute became the basis for the library.
At present, the library fund is a universal collection of scientific, academic, reference books and periodicals, which has more than 554,000 copies of traditional and electronic information sources.
The library contains 3 library subscriptions (scientific, educational and fiction) and 5 reading halls (scientific, educational, reference, electronic, periodicals), which serve about 16 000 users. The Service subdivision is located at the address: 42 Kikvidze, (8th.9th floors) and in the main building at 1 M. Omelianovycha-Pavlenka Str., (3rd floor).
NTU library provides students, undergraduates, graduates and postgraduates, faculty and departments staff with information and bibliographic service. The library employees get approximately 67 000 thematic, bibliographic and other reference materials annually.
The library software «UDF / Library» provides access to funds and electronic resources. You can access the electronic catalogue (over 151,000 entries) via local and global networks as well as free Wi-Fi.
