Khabutdinov Ramazan Abdulaiovych – Head of the Department of Transport Technologies, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, awarded the “For Scientific Achievements” and the “Excellence of Education” badges.
The department was established in 1966. At that time, it was called the Department of Road Transport and Traffic Safety, and associate professor Trokhym Ivanovych Grinchenko was appointed as the head of the department.
Over time, the department underwent a certain transformations regarding the name and significantly expanded the spectrum of educational activities. In 1976, it was transformed into the Department Of Organization And Management and was headed by Associate Professor Mykhailo Nesterovych Bidniak, and in 1982 – renamed into the Department of Operation Of Road Transport And Traffic Management, and it was headed by Associate Professor Mykhaylenko Volodymyr Ivanovych.
From 1991 to 1993, the Head Of The Department was Professor A.I. Vorkut. Since 1993, the Department has been named “Transport Systems and Marketing”. It was headed and managed until 2003 by Anatoly Ivanovich Vorkut, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the Transport Academy of Ukraine.
In accordance with the decision of the Academic Council of the University Reg. # 5 from 26.06.2008, as well as for the purpose of improving the organization of the educational process, rational use of the university’s material base and distribution of the teaching workload, two departments were created on the basis of the “Transport Systems and Marketing” department: “Transport Technologies ” and “Transport Systems And Road Safety”.
From 2003 to 2010, the head of the “Transport Technologies” department was Yatskivskyi Lyubomyr Yuriyovych, candidate of technical sciences, professor. From 2010 to September 2011, the head of the department was Mnatsakanov Rudolph Georgiyovych – doctor of technical sciences, professor.
In accordance with the decision of the Academic Council of the University reg. # 235 dated 30.06.2011, as well as with the aim of improving the organization of the educational process, rational use of the university’s material base and distribution of the pedagogical workload, two departments were created on the basis of the “Transport Technologies” Department: “Transport Technologies” and “International Transportation And Customs Control”. Ramazan Abdullayovych Khabutdinov was appointed the head of the “Transport Technologies” Department (Doctor Of Technical Sciences, Professor).

- formation of an effective container transport system for intercity automobile and multimodal transportation;
- logistics design of multimodal transportation;
- development of scientific foundations of passenger flows management;
- mathematical modeling of technical and renovation transport operations, processes and technologies;
- scientific foundations of the concept of managing the innovative development of road transport, as well as high-tech and intensively resource-saving reproduction of motor transport services.

- development of the concept of safety proneness and protective features of freights in transport
