Serhii Ivanovych Andrusenko — the Head of the Department of Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Service, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor, “Excellence in Education of Ukraine” award, Merited Transport Worker of Ukraine. He is the author of more than one hundred academic, educational-methodical papers, ten monographs and textbooks.
The Department was founded in 1949. A Department Founder was the Automobile Faculty Dean, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Leonid Pavlovych Reva, who managed to form a team of highly qualified lecturers and to set necessary equipment at the department laboratory during hard post-war times. Serhiy Ivanovych Andrusenko, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor has been the Head of the Department since 2005.
