General assembly of the university staff dedicated to the beginning of the new 2017-2018 academic year

Rector of National Transport University, Professor Mykola Dmytrychenko presented an annual report about the work of the employees of the University during the 2016-2017 academic year and set tasks for the new academic year.

We can consider the previous year to be successful in all spheres of work. We can name the following achievements during the accounting period: implementation of modern requirements for the further improvement of the quality of students training; introduction of new majors; improvement of efficiency of research activity; significant expansion of University participation in international projects and academic mobility of students; strengthening of the material and technical basis; stable financial position.

The assembly approved the rector’s report and recommendations related to the tasks for the new academic year. The recommendations adopted in the decision cover the completion of the implementation of the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education” and the implementation of the decision of the Board of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine “On the state of readiness for the admission campaign in 2017 and the main tasks of higher educational establishments in the 2017/18 academic year” dated 22.06.2017. A set of specific measures are proposed for further improvement of University work in all areas of its activity.
